Sustainability Project Manager (Overnight Shift)

Job Description: This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our commercial construction projects based on sustainability. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
Specific duties include:
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing Microsoft Access or Primavera, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation and collaborate with project team to meet goals.
- Create and manage project budgets utilizing Excel charts or Word documents, ensuring financial goals are met while following sustainable paths, collaborating with the finance team on timely reporting through Google Finance.
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet industry standards and client specifications, identifying any potential risks and challenges proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and convince them to use sustainable materials alternative, available incentive programs and how it will be compensated in long run with Aurora proposal.
- Act as primary point of contact for subcontractors, reviewing and negotiating contracts, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns that arise.
- Ensure that projects comply with all applicable regulations and obtain necessary permits.
- Estimate material and staff resources needed in different phases utilizing Revit to eliminate delay, material waste, and commute.
- Travel 40% of time nationwide to client construction sites.
- 60% of this role involves working overnight shifts, supervising the project team onsite and then coordinating with the day shift manager to brief them on the work accomplished and hand-off the project work to the day crew.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field plus four years of related experience.
Experience must include:
- Managing commercial sustainable construction projects and teams.
- Working with sustainable construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Planning project milestones utilizing Microsoft Access or Primavera.
- Creating and managing project budgets utilizing Excel charts or Word documents.
